Teach your children with books.
Sometimes, we need to talk to our children about important and often tough topics. It can be difficult to know where to start and how to present an idea to your children in a way that they can understand.
Books can be an amazing resource—and reading books with your children can be a simple way to start a conversation. Children are naturally curious and will likely ask you questions about topics they do not understand. You can also use the story to ask your children open-ended questions to engage them in conversation.
The incredible teachers at my daughter’s school shared these books as resources that are appropriate for most elementary school aged children.
